About
A neutral marketplace built to close deals.
We are not a broker. We are the platform where verified buyers and sellers meet — with structured information instead of free-text guesswork — and we measure ourselves by one thing: deals that actually close.
Why we exist
Buying or selling a business is one of the biggest decisions an owner ever makes, and most of the process is slow, opaque, and built on guesswork. We exist to change that — to help serious buyers and sellers find each other and move from first contact to a closed deal as fast as the diligence allows. Every feature we build is judged by whether it moves a deal forward.
We only win when you sell
Some platforms charge you a fee just to list, so they get paid whether or not your business ever sells — which is why they'll happily let you sit at a price no buyer will ever pay. We refuse to work that way. You never pay just to be listed, and our main reward comes when your deal actually closes. That aligns us completely with you: we have every reason to help you price realistically and reach the right buyer, and none to waste your time and money on a listing that can't move. We guide you toward a defensible, data-backed asking price — grounded in your verified financials — because a business priced to sell is worth more to both of us than one priced to sit.
Built to convert, not to collect listings
A giant catalogue looks impressive, but a platform can carry hundreds of listings and still close only a handful of deals a year. We'd rather do the opposite: fewer, serious, well-priced businesses — and a far higher share of them actually sold. Everything here is engineered for conversion, not for a big number on a homepage: structured data, verified financials, qualified buyers, and a process built to move from first contact to a closed deal as fast as the diligence allows.
What we do
BizBuy lets sellers list their company with structured financial and operational fields. Buyers browse, filter, and contact sellers directly — every listing exposes the numbers as queryable data instead of burying them in free-text descriptions.
Why structured data
Most M&A marketplaces are walls of free-text descriptions. Buyers spend hours reading paragraphs to extract numbers that should have been fields. We invert that: every listing exposes revenue, profit, EBITDA, ownership status, debt, employees, ROI, and payback multiple as queryable data.
Honest numbers, including your traffic
Most platforms never show you how many people actually viewed your listing. We do. Every seller sees exactly how much real attention their business is getting — an honest number you can act on, not a vanity badge you can't. Transparency runs through everything here: real view counts, verified financials, and a confidential process you stay in control of.
Promotion that brings real buyers
When you choose to promote a listing, your budget doesn't buy a badge that sits on a page nobody visits. It buys real advertising. We put it to work driving targeted buyers to your listing — and, because we show you your view count, you can see that attention arrive. It's a genuine win-win: your business reaches more qualified buyers, and every campaign also grows the marketplace that serves you.
Who built BizBuy
BizBuy was built by Philippe, a Canadian software engineer who spent years building products for several major companies. Looking hard at how businesses are actually bought and sold, he kept seeing the same two failures no existing platform had fixed. Buyers couldn't see the real potential of a business for sale — the numbers that matter were buried in free text, with no honest picture of the demand a listing was getting. And sellers were routinely promised a high price to win their listing, only for the sale to never come. An engineer by trade, he was certain both problems were solvable with a platform built properly — around structured data, honest numbers, and incentives aligned with actually closing a deal. That is the platform you're looking at.
